Fourteen ways to
hang something properly
Every service below is carried out on site at the East 40th Street workshop. Most are finished the same day.
Custom Wood & Metal Framing
Every frame is cut, joined and finished on site. Choose from hardwood, gilt-finished and brushed metal mouldings, then pair with archival mats and your preferred glazing.
ExploreSports Memorabilia & Jerseys
Deep shadow boxes with archival mounting that holds a garment or object without adhesive damage, preserving both the piece and its value.
ExploreMirrors & Custom Glass
Mirrors cut to fit the wall you have, finished with gilt or hardwood mouldings, plain or beveled edge, with acrylic available where weight matters.
ExploreArchival Matting
Conservation-grade cotton rag board, cut with a clean bevel, in single, double and stacked configurations.
Glass & Acrylic Glazing
Glazing choice decides how long colour survives. UV-filtering options block the wavelengths that fade pigment and paper.
Canvas Stretching
Rolled or unstretched canvas fitted to solid stretcher bars, corner-keyed and squared, ready to hang or float-frame.
Dry Mounting
Permanent flat mounting for posters and photographic prints where perfect flatness matters more than reversibility.
Shadow Boxes
Built to the depth the object requires, with spacers that keep glazing clear of the surface.
Diploma & Certificate Framing
Conservative mouldings with double mats and optional engraved plates, sized to standard and non-standard documents.
Oil Painting Framing
Oils and acrylics framed without glazing where appropriate, using linen liners and float mounts that leave the edge visible.
Poster Framing
Slim metal or wood profiles with the option of dry mounting for a perfectly flat result.
Ready-Made Frames
A standing range of common sizes for work that does not need bespoke dimensions.
Mirror Resizing & Repair
Existing mirrors cut down to a new dimension, edges finished, and reframed to suit a new room.
Corporate & Bulk Framing
Consistent specification across large runs, with scheduled delivery and installation coordination for commercial fit-outs.
What goes around your work
Hardwood
Ash, oak, walnut and painted profiles, from slim gallery mouldings to deep traditional sections.
Metal
Brushed and anodised aluminium in narrow profiles — the usual choice for photography and posters.
Archival board
Acid-free cotton rag in a range of whites, creams and colours, bevel-cut single or double.
Glazing
Standard, UV-filtering, non-glare and museum glass, plus acrylic for large or shipped pieces.
How framing is priced
Framing is priced by size, moulding, mat and glazing — not by a fixed menu. Bring the piece in, or send dimensions and a photograph, and you will get a real number rather than a range.
