Standard mirrors rarely fit the space you are trying to fill. An alcove, a mantel, a narrow hallway — these want a mirror cut to the dimension, not the nearest size a shop happens to stock.
We cut mirror glass to your measurements, finish the edge, and frame it in whatever suits the room. A beveled edge catches light around the perimeter and suits traditional interiors; a clean polished edge sits better in a modern one.
We also recut and reframe existing mirrors. If you have one that is the right character but the wrong size, it can often be brought down and given a new frame.

Within reason, yes. We cut to your dimensions and finish the edge. Very large single panes get heavy quickly, so at a certain size we will talk to you about acrylic or splitting the design.
A polished edge is cut flat and smoothed — clean and modern. A beveled edge is ground at an angle around the perimeter, creating a band that catches the light. Bevels suit traditional and decorative mirrors.
Usually. Bring it in and we will look at the condition of the glass and the backing. Existing mirrors can often be recut to a new size and given a completely different frame.
Glass for most interior work — it is clearer and does not scratch. Acrylic where weight or safety matters: large pieces, high-traffic hallways, bathrooms, or anywhere children are involved.
We frame and finish them with appropriate hanging hardware for the weight. For large or awkward installations we can talk through the fixings you will need, or coordinate with your installer.
